What our clients say

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you support participants with complex health needs?

Yes. Blueblossom Health Services specialises in nurse-led disability support for participants with complex health needs, high-intensity support requirements, behavioural support needs, and changing care risks.

Our Registered Nurse-led model supports assessment, care planning, health monitoring, staff guidance, documentation, and escalation when needs change.

What does nurse-led support mean?

Nurse-led support means our services are guided by clinical knowledge, not just routine care delivery. Registered Nurses help oversee care planning, identify risks, guide support workers, review changing needs, and communicate with families, support coordinators and health professionals.

This gives participants and stakeholders greater confidence that supports are structured, safe and responsive.

Do you provide Supported Independent Living?

Yes. We provide Supported Independent Living and accommodation support for participants who need structured daily assistance, stable routines, skill development, and support to live as independently as possible.

The NDIS describes SIL as help or supervision with daily tasks to help participants live as independently as possible while building their skills.

Can you support high-intensity daily personal activities?

Yes, depending on the participant’s needs, funding, risk profile and support plan. High intensity supports require workers to have appropriate skills, training, guidance and documentation.

The NDIS Commission states that high-intensity daily personal activities are covered by supplementary NDIS Practice Standards, and providers registered for this support class must be assessed against relevant standards.

Can you assist with hospital discharge or urgent placement needs?

Yes. We can work with participants, families, support coordinators and hospital discharge teams to help plan safe supports after hospital admission or a change in care needs.

This may include nursing assessment, care planning, personal support, accommodation pathways, medication support, risk identification, stakeholder communication and ongoing monitoring.

Do you support participants with behaviours of concern?

Yes. We work alongside behaviour practitioners, families and support coordinators to implement person-centred behaviour support strategies with consistency, dignity and respect.

Our focus is on predictable routines, understanding triggers, reducing escalation, clear documentation and safe support environments.

What areas do you service?

Blueblossom Health Services supports participants across the Gold Coast, Logan, Brisbane and surrounding areas.
